SEACOM appoints Sajid Khan MD of group digital services
SEACOM, which is celebrating 15 years of strengthening connectivity in Africa, said yesterday Sajid Khan, previously the managing director of its East Africa division, will now be the managing director for group digital services.
The telecom services provider announced Khan’s elevation, saying: “With over 26 years of industry experience, Sajid will be responsible for driving and enhancing our digital managed services, including our full portfolio of products and solutions in cloud, connectivity, cybersecurity, and smart networking.”
SEACOM stated that the appointment is in accordance with their expansion strategy. In a recent message commemorating its 15th anniversary, SEACOM stated that the company has grown and expanded its offerings year after year.
The statement continued: “Today, alongside offering enterprise-grade connectivity, SEACOM offers digital IT services, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions that enable African consumers and businesses.”
Khan is now projected to keep driving growth in his role, and the organisation wished him well.
“A big congratulation to Sajid on his new appointment, and we look forward to his many milestones ahead,” said SEACOM.
