Safaricom Ethiopia, a leading telecommunications provider in the country, has been lauded for its consistent contributions to the Ethiopian economy. The company was recognized as a loyal taxpayer by the Ministry of Revenues during a ceremony held at the Prime Minister’s office.

Safaricom Ethiopia’s CEO, Mr. Wim Vanhelleputte, received the award from Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), in recognition of the company’s consecutive years of adherence to tax obligations. The award is part of the annual awards for federal high taxpayers and highlights Safaricom Ethiopia’s commitment to fulfilling its corporate responsibilities and supporting the nation’s economic growth.
