The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) has reaffirmed the importance of collaboration within the country’s communications sector following a courtesy visit by Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL) to its Acting Director General, Mayamiko Mkoloma.

The meeting focused on familiarising the Acting Director General with recent developments at MTL, which remains a key stakeholder and one of Malawi’s network operators. Discussions highlighted MTL’s ongoing efforts to leverage technology to improve the quality of communication services nationwide, including initiatives aimed at extending connectivity to rural and underserved communities.
