Orange Centrafrique announced on 30 June that it had restored services throughout the country after a devastating fire destroyed its network earlier in the month. Following the restoration of 3G voice services on 23 June and 2G voice, SMS and Orange Money services on 28 June, the operator confirmed interconnection with other national and international networks had also been re-established.

To mark the resumption of services and to thank customers for their loyalty, the operator is offering its pre-paid clients 100 minutes of free on-net calls (valid until 5 July), while 2G handset owners are being offered the opportunity to upgrade to a Sanza 3G or Sanza Touch 3G handset at its Bangui branch for XAF9,000 (USD17.89).
